Qutab minar : This tall minaret standing 72 mtrs. In height was built by Qutub-ud-din-aibak in 1193 and was completed by lltutmish. The diameter of its base is 14.3 mtrs. While that of its top is 2.7 mtrs.

India Gate : 42 mtrs high free standing arch designed by Luteyns in 1913. It was originally called the All India War Memorial in the memory of 90000 soldiers who lost their lives in World War – 1. An eternal flame was lit here to honour the Amar Jawans (immortal soldiers).

Mathura : The land where Shri Krishna was born and spent his youth, has today little towns and hamlets that are still alive with the Krishna legend and still redolent with the music of his flute. Mathura, a little town on the River Yamuna was transformed into a place of faith after Lord Krishna was born here. Vrindavan, a village - once noted for its fragrant groves, is where he spent an eventful youth. There are numerous other little spots in the area that still reverberate with the enchantment of Shri Krishna.

Jantar Mantar : Constructed in 1724. Maharaja Jai Singh of Jaipur who built this observatory went on to build other observatories in Ujjain, Varanasi and Mathura. Jai Singh had found the existing astronomical and so he built these larger and more accurate instruments.
